The scope of this treatise is the illustrated differential diagnosis of endoscopic findings - not that of gastrointestinal diseases. It presents pictures of conditions with similar appearances and points out distinguishing endoscopic features. Although the contents are limited to four main topics, there are 221 full-color pictures documenting the various aspects of inflammations, ulcers and tumors which cover the majority of cases found in endoscopic practice.
